There are a number of reasons why you may not wish to purchase washable nappies at a particular time, or you may just want to try something out without committing yourself to keeping it. The ability to TRIAL or HIRE nappies and wraps means that you can borrow things you won't need for very long or try things that you might be unsure of. Cumfy Schemes
How does it work?Each scheme works slightly differently, but in each case a deposit is taken - and then at the end of the trial period charges are deducted and, if appropriate, a refund issued. Delivery You can collect if you live in or around Milton Keynes, otherwise your item will be posted. Return Returning the items will be at your cost and you may either post them (in which case please ensure you get Proof of Postage or use Special Delivery to insure them depending on the value) or return them direct to me if you are local. Payment Please note for trial items you must pay by Paypal, cash, cheque or bank transfer so that it is easy to do a partial refund. Cumfy Confidence - Give it a go CumfyConfidence allows you to try items for 2 weeks - it allows you to return something washed and worn so that if you don't like it or it doesn't work for you then you are not stuck with it. With new items from stock you can try one of each item and size; alternatively you may wish to borrow several used items - this will depend on whether you wish to try out using real nappies in general, or to try a particular brand/size. You can contact me for advice about availibility. Trying new items When you order new items on a Cumfy Confidence you pay the full retail price of what you are trialling. This means if you decide to keep the item things are simple. If you return the item you will be refunded 70% of the price of the returned items less the original cost of postage - your refund may be used against another purchase if you wish. If you do not return a CumfyConfidence trial item within 2 weeks I will assume you wish to purchase the item, however if you decide to return the item after 2 weeks a charge of £1 per week will be taken from your deposit. Once the value of the deposit is 'used' no refund will be made.
Items available for CumfyConfidence (subject to stock) include Happy Heinys diapers and training pants, Popolino Easyfix, Popolino One-size, Popolino Two-size, Tots Bots, Popolino Vento and Popo wraps, Naturebabies Diddy Diaper, and others. Trials of new items are restricted to one of each item and size. Free trials of used items - if you wish to borrow a pre-washed/used item then you may borrow it for the cost of postage - you will be asked for a deposit to cover the value of the item plus postage. You will be refunded the value of the item on its return. If you collect your items there will be no charge for postage. Items must be returned within 2 weeks or a charge of £1 per item per week will be deducted from your deposit - once the deposit is exhausted I will assume that you wish to keep them and no refund will be made. Please contact me for details of availability of used items. Because you will not need the smallest size of wraps for very many weeks I normally recommend that you purchase wraps from 8lbs+, as they seem to fit most newborn babies.However, if you wish to use real nappies from birth and your baby is smaller than 8lbs, or is a skinny 8lbs you may find the Newborn wraps fit better. The Newborn wraps will take the same small nappies - and therefore if you have purchased a 'set' you will only need to add on the wraps. I therefore offer a Beginnings Kit comprising of 6 newborn Superwhisper wraps or 6 Popolino XS PopoWraps at a price of £6 per week. The deposit on the wraps is £50 - if they are not returned after 6 weeks I will assume you wish to keep them and no refund will be issued. You may be coming towards the end of your 'nappy days' and don't want to invest in the largest size of wraps and yet your toddler is outgrowing the ones you have. A Cumfy Endings kit comprises 4 XL Size Popo or Vento wraps for £4 per week. The deposit on the wraps is £40 - if they are not returned after 10 weeks I will assume you wish to purchase the wraps and no refund will be issued. You may hire a variety of nappies to try/use subject to availability. This may be a long term arrangement if you wish.
